CV Review and Evaluation
Your journey begins by submitting an online application.
Your CV gives Emirates the relevant information on your experience and helps recruiters assess if you have the right experience and qualifications to meet the requirements for the role.
If you meet the initial requirements you will be contacted to start the assessment process. Alternatively, you might be placed on a waiting list (with 3– 6-month intervals), so be sure your information is up-to-date.
Online Psychometric Assessments
You might encounter several online psychometric assessments depending on the role you apply for. It's advisable to be prepared for a range of pre-employment assessments tests.
These are the typical tests you might take at Emirates during your hiring process:

Numerical Reasoning Test

The Emirates' verbal reasoning test is a multiple-choice test that evaluates your verbal reasoning ability. Multitasking Test (pilot specific roles)
The multitasking test requires you to complete two tasks at the same time. You'll receive a steady flow of information and enter it into the primary flight display of a flight simulation. The other is being able to monitor any alerts being presented on the screen.
Spatial Awareness Test (pilot specific roles)
Emirates' spatial awareness test is designed specifically for pilots and looks at your ability to operate and comprehend an aircraft's position and altitude. You'll be tested on which aircraft is being used based on this information.
Flight Control (pilot specific roles)
The Emirates flight control test assesses your multitasking and psycho-motor skills specifically for pilots. It consists of numerous activities such as slip ball coordinator, adjusting airspeed, altitude, and heading simultaneously.

Safety is extremely important working for an airline. The height and reach assessment is all about ensuring safety standards are met. For certain roles, you will be tested to see if you can reach 212cm (being on tiptoes is permitted) to be able to operate the plane correctly.
Online English Language and Behavioural Questionnaire
